Message to clients:

Hello there, and welcome! My name is Mikayla (she/her) — I’m a holistic social worker who believes in creating spaces for restoration, resilience, and care. I’m a white, cisgender woman and a mother. My approach to therapy is casual, humanizing, and honest, inviting you to show up just as you are.

I believe that we all deserve a space that is just for us — a space to become curious about ourselves and reconnect with the wholeness of who we are. Regardless of what has brought you here, we will explore together what you feel, what you believe, and what you want in your life.

The space we create will give you permission to feel what you need while grounding you with practical tools to navigate those experiences. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to heal — only your way — and I will walk alongside you as we discover what that looks like.

I practice from a heart-centered and anti-oppressive framework, considering how systems and external factors impact us all. I encourage you to explore your relationship with those systems, and I strive to hold a space that is inclusive and affirming. I am a sex-positive clinician and celebrate you being authentically you — even when others may not understand.

In my therapeutic work, I am rooted in strengths-based practice and draw from multiple modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. While I bring clinical experience and training, I recognize the importance of examining my own assumptions and remaining open to learning in partnership with those I work with. I believe that vulnerability and mutual trust grow through collaboration.

Making it here is no small feat — and it’s deeply important that you find the right fit for your healing journey. If you feel that we might connect, I invite you to reach out.
