Message to clients:

I work with teenagers, emerging adults, and adults and particularly enjoy working with high school, college, and graduate students. I care deeply about offering queer and gender affirming therapy and welcome queer and gender expansive folks of all ages.

I draw on relational, intersectional feminist, narrative, internal family systems, attachment, and somatic approaches to therapy. I strive to make each client feel understood, valued, and empowered because I believe healing and growth emerges from a strong therapeutic alliance.

I support clients in exploring how their environments (family and kin networks, communities, cultural expectations, systemic oppression) and past experiences have shaped the way they move through the world, relate to others, and see themselves. I also invite inquiry about old coping/protective strategies and how they are serving clients in their present lives.

Sessions can unfold in many different ways depending on what each client needs and wants. I trust in the wisdom and self determination of each person I work with. I collaborate with clients to co-create a therapeutic space that supports openness and can hold any emotions and topics that arise. I welcome all parts of my clients’ identities and experiences into our sessions, including pleasure and joy.

Past clients have appreciated my warmth, calm presence, authenticity, and curiosity. I hope to bring these qualities into all my sessions. I approach my work with empathy, humor, tenderness, and a commitment to anti-oppressive, liberatory practice. Please reach out if this resonates with you.
